Industrial burner failure is an inevitable situation in production. If it can not be found and dealt with in time, it will not only bring adverse effects to production, but also may bring safety risks. Therefore, it is crucial to develop a set of emergency plan for burner failure.
Content of emergency plan
1. Failure classification of industrial burner
Industrial burner failures can usually be divided into the following categories:
Ignition failure: ignition failure due to igniter failure, excessive electrode spacing, excessive carbon deposition and other reasons.
Incomplete combustion: due to excessive oxygen in the burner, or improper adjustment of combustion gas, oxygen ratio, resulting in incomplete combustion.
(3) Flame extinguishing: due to insufficient oxygen, combustion temperature is too low, or the gas pipeline failure, valve closure and other reasons, resulting in the flame extinguishing.
(4) Industrial burner explosion: the combustible gas accumulated in the burner is mixed with the air, forming an explosive mixed gas. If in some cases, it is ignited by the fire source, the burner explosion will occur.
Emergency handling process
(1) After the fault is found, the main line of gas source, air cushion and power supply should be closed in time.
(2) Check the internal situation of the burner, open the ventilator and fan at any time, so that the air circulation avoids the accumulation of combustible gas.
(3) Restart the burner to make it run normally.
Accident handling preparation
(1) Establish a special rescue team and provide the necessary rescue tools and equipment.
(2) Regularly test the oxygen content, inlet pipe path and exhaust outlet in the burner to ensure that the burner is in normal operation.
(3) Establish an emergency communication mechanism to ensure timely contact with relevant personnel in case of an emergency.
To sum up, timely inspection and handling of faults should be operated in a safe environment, and timely troubleshooting to ensure safe production.
