By fuel type:
Gas burner: mainly used for burning gas, usually used in drying kilns, smoke-inverted kilns, shuttle kilns, various melting furnaces etc.
Natural gas burner: suitable for various industrial furnaces, which can be divided into direct flame burners and short flame burners according to the different pressure of gas and the shape of the flame.
Fuel burner: including gas medium atomizing oil nozzle and mechanical atomizing oil nozzle. The gas medium atomizing oil nozzle relies on the momentum of the medium to atomize the oil, while the mechanical atomizing oil nozzle uses mechanical methods to directly atomize the oil.
Other fuel burners: such as the burners of the rolling mill heating furnace, which can be divided into natural gas, light hydrocarbon gas, furnace gas, coke oven gas, converter gas, diesel, heavy oil and gas generator, etc. according to the different selected fuels.
Classification by flame shape:
Direct flame burner: The flame is long, suitable for heat treatment kilns, container annealing furnaces, etc. Flat flame burner:
Short flame burner: flame is short and rigid
The flame is close to the furnace wall or the inside of the furnace roof is evenly sprayed out, suitable for shell baking furnace, forging heating furnace, etc
Classification by air supply method:
Self-aspirating burner: no external force is needed to supply air, which relies on the Venturi structure to inhale air.
Forced-air: relies on a blower to force air supply, usually a high-pressure centrifugal fan.
Classification by air-fuel mixing method:
Diffusion burner: Air is not pre-mixed with fuel. Atmospheric burner:
Part of the air is mixed with the fuel. Fully preixed burner:
Air is pre-mixed with fuel, suitable for flameless combustion types.
