Overview
The AGK air-fuel ratio valve is a valve that achieves a constant gas-to-air ratio, used to regulate the flow of gas in continuous or pulse control. It can be used for gas pipeline control in the metal, glass, and ceramic industries, as well as commercial heating applications such as packaging, paper, and packaging industries.
Features:
The AGK series proportional valve automatically adjusts the outlet pressure based on feedback from the pressure in the feedback tube.
It features a pressure compensation function to eliminate the impact of inlet medium pressure fluctuations, ensuring stable regulation.
The ratio of the feedback tube to the valve outlet pressure is 1:1, and the control valve range is 1:10.
Suitable for natural gas, liquefied gas, and other clean gases.
Function and Application:
The AGK series proportional valve is used in automated control combustion systems on gas pipelines. It outputs the appropriate amount of gas based on the air pressure feedback from the feedback pipe, controlling the air-fuel ratio of the burner.
This valve can be used in continuous proportional control systems and large and small fire pulse control systems, and it can also serve as a zero-pressure valve in pre-combustion systems equipped with Venturi tubes.
Precautions for the design, installation and maintenance of the proportional valve
Installation location:
It can only be installed on horizontal pipelines, with the spring chamber oriented vertically downward.
The arrow on the valve body indicates the airflow direction, which should be noted during installation.
A space must be reserved below the valve for easy adjustment using a hex socket wrench.
The operating environment temperature ranges from-15℃ to 60℃, and the valve should be installed away from heat sources.
The pressure tap position of the feedback pipe should be at least 5 pipe diameters upstream of the electric control valve, and at least 1 pipe diameter downstream of the manual air control valve.
A gas manual control valve should be installed at least 3 pipe diameters downstream of the proportional valve, and a slow-opening gas solenoid valve should be installed upstream of the proportional valve.
Precautions:
Before installing the proportional valve on the pipeline, ensure the pipeline is thoroughly cleaned. When installing, use sealing materials like raw rubber tape correctly to prevent foreign objects from entering the valve.
Do not pre-assemble the flange with the proportional valve before welding the pipeline and flange, as this can cause welding molten material or other impurities to get stuck or damage the valve.
It is recommended to install a manual shut-off valve upstream of the proportional valve for easy maintenance.
It is also recommended to install a filter AF upstream of the proportional valve to protect it from foreign objects and dust.
Usage:
The proportional valve is used in the combustion system, where the gas outlet pressure is 1:1 to the feedback pipe pressure.
Therefore, the gas inlet pressure of the proportional valve must be higher than the combustion air pressure.
The gas-to-air ratio for the combustion gas is adjusted by manually controlling the air butterfly valve downstream of the feedback pipe and the gas manual control valve downstream of the proportional valve.
In low-fire mode, the gas ratio can be adjusted using the knob at the bottom of the proportional valve, with an adjustment range of approximately ±3mbar.
For pulse control between high and low fire modes, the gas flow during low fire can be adjusted through an adjustable bypass, and the knob can be adjusted to loosen the spring.
Maintenance is required once a year, with additional maintenance as needed.
